as peter said, you're diminishing the seriousness of a real problem by attempting to claim that any police shooting is a crime and racially motivated.

    that dog won't hunt

    sorry
I didn't say all police shootings are racially motivated, nor does this one hit the level of non-indictments as Garner case and several others.

However i do see a disturbing pattern emerging.

We're sure you do, Bo. Now you keep reporting on it, OK? It makes everyone take it much more seriously.
Whoever criticizes capitalism, while approving immigration, whose working class is its first victim, had better shut up. Whoever criticizes immigration, while remaining silent about capitalism, should do the same.

since this incident isn't a part of it, why did you post?

Epidemic? yep. Epidemic stupidity on the part of young black thugs. Just a few tips. Don't turn around and get down into some kind of charging position, put your hand at your belt as if you are armed and tell the cop you are not going to jail.

I don't know....that just seems like a really bad idea to me. Do you think it is a matter of stupidity or just plain low IQ on the part of the dead guy.. Course...it don't really matter now does it.

I don't know why leftists, strong believers in Evolution don't see this for what it is....culling the herd? survival of the species? Certainly the young man is deserving of the Darwin Award.

Hard to say. However, he should of been looked at as a private security employee vs a cop in this situation. At least he didn't keep firing

40 police officers felled by gunfire in 2014

They were killed during traffic stops and bar fights. They were killed in ambushes and while serving search warrants. They were killed by men who admitted hating police officers or had grudges against the government — or they were found dead in unexplained circumstances. Two were shot in a remote Alaskan village not accessible by roads. And one died more than 20 years after he was shot on duty.

This is, in roughly reverse chronological order, a list of 41 police officers killed by gunfire in the United States in 2014. It is not a comprehensive list of all officers killed in the line of duty, as police die on the job for any number of reasons. It also does not include officer deaths by gunfire in U.S. territories or among military personnel.

There are a few of you who believe the black's getting killed are just innocent and the cop simply, and for fun, decided a black needed a funeral.

    Give us a break.

We have cops so those who are doing crimes are caught. Stand still, hands up, and work with cops. If the guy is not doing a crime, it will come out.

It was already dark on Jan. 16 when Castro, who is Hispanic, reportedly saw Baker riding his bike through a strip center parking lot, looking into storefront windows, according to police reports. Castro thought Baker, who was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, matched the description of some robbery suspects, ABC13 reported in January.
The police department said in a statement that Castro tried to stop Baker, which led to a struggle and short chase on foot. Police said Baker then stopped running, reached into waistband and charged at the officer.
Castro told investigators that, out of fear for his life, he pulled his gun and fired one shot, striking Baker. The issue before the grand jury prosecutors said was whether Castro fired in self-defense.
