Think 3rd party for 2024 folks. Clean up America.
Once I tell you that we agree to disagree there will be no more discussion between us in the thread so please don't waste your time continuing to argue your points because I will not respond.
Can't see it making much if any difference.

Even opposing coaches like Mike Zimmer and TE Dwayne Allen of the Colts said it didn't make a difference in the game. Which is true - had the Patriots won the game by a touchdown or a field goal, then I think you would be legitimate in saying it affected the game. But they won 45-7 and it wasn't because of under-inflated balls.

It seems neither Belichick nor Brady admitted a thing. They both deny having anything to do with altering the footballs.
Stay tuned..........
Not Debatable.
From what I have heard the last few days if the Patriots hadn't been caught cheating in the past this incident would have been a non issue. I think this is just another case of the media blowing something out of proportion knowing that some of the public will eat it up. It did raise a question for me though. Why does the NFL rules dictate that the balls be inflated to 12½ to 13½ pounds? I have heard that if a quarterback is handed a ball that doesn't feel right to him that he can and does hand it right back and is given another ball. How about if the NFL just declares what a regulation football is and let the individual teams decide for themselves what pressure they are? Individual quarterbacks could have the ball inflated to the pressure they feel comfortable with passing and what the receivers feel comfortable catching. The kickers could also set the pressure where they like. The NFL could just make sure there are no magnets in the ball or that they don't have helium in them.
They could shoot that horse-toothed $#@! from the Krafts' owners box and I wouldn't care. $#@! the Colts.

Even Colts players said it didn't make a difference. Like I said before, if the score was a field goal or touchdown of a difference, I think it would be credible to say it made a difference. But 45-7? And the Colts got to use the underinflated balls too. I just don't buy it.

It would not have made a difference! But then given that why risk cheating? If you're that good why cheat? I hate cheaters!
