    Another culprit is jeans. Sounds silly, but it's true. Jeans or pants too "snug" can iritate and cause an infection. I know ladies who have had that happen.
    Ha! it sounds funny but that is rarely a problem for me. I like to be able to "breathe" in my pants and allow for room when i over-eat!

    thanks for the insights. I hope that all will be well in a few days. I must lay the baby laying asleep next to me in her crib and put myself to sleep. Cheerio!

    My son, brother & my husband have all had kidney stones. The pain they suffered was unbelievable. My brother had a laser (?) procedure....long time ago and I remember him saying they actually smashed the stones while they were still in his kidney. The smaller pieces were supposed to be easier to pass. (he said if that was easier, he would hate to have passed them before smashing).

    I make sure husband drinks lots of cranberry juice, often and he has not had a problem for many years. Son does the same.

    When my husband was experiencing the problem the doctor showed us a picture of a kidney stone. It looked like a $#@!lebur....makes me cringe to just think about it! (I'm a wuss)

    Kidney stones are usually caused by diet. If you find out what type of stones they are you can prevent them.

    My husbands had them. Terrible pain. After three trips to the ER in as many days for X-rays and morphine, and assurances it would pass. I finally said " honey, why don't you call your urologist?" So, we did and he said " meet me in the ER". Back to the ER. Then to OR. Not only did he have stones he had a stricture that would not let them pass. Now he's on some kind of phosphate to prevent them.

    They both reduced the milk & increased the cranberry juice and neither have had a problem since then. No meds.

    For once, Cigar and I totally agree. I'm pretty sure that hydration is a big issue for those afflicted with kidney stones though

    The best way to get rid of kidney stones, since they are obviously hard masses in your kidney or other organs, is to first read what it is about;

    So, what forms kidney stones? it doesn't matter how you get it, since they would have prevented that by now, and it is too tedious to control what you drink, so what we need is a cheap quick cure.

    What i suggest is that the 'crystals' are dissolved by drinking acids, like oranges or apples. these will dissolve the 'rocks' slowly, so how do speed it up? i would suggest that we could use stomach acid? sometimes ostriches ingest stones, and they don't get hurt. does it leave the tract, or do they dissolve in the stomach? i think they do, and, this is curable quickly!
