I am very proud I am Catholic. I don't hide it, I wear a Crucifix on a necklace. If someone doesn't like it, too bad.

At the end of the day, faith is all we have to fall back on. It brings joy, peace, and wisdom. Don't let people, particularly faceless people on the internet, take that away from you. It is yours and yours alone, and you will only lose it if you allow yourself to let go of it.
"Those who produce should have, but we know that those who produce the most — that is, those who work hardest, and at the most difficult and most menial tasks, have the least."
- Eugene V. Debs (1855-1926), five-time Socialist Party candidate for U.S. President

Well said, my respect grows and that comes from a person who is not overly religious.
I guess ive never lost my roots because I wear a crucifix and cross my self at times and When I think of my mother and her sisters and her mother all very religious catholics and how wonderful and kind people they were. I know religion and religious people are not all nuts or devious and they deserve the same respect as any other

I still love the Latin Mass. It was so beautiful to listen to.
That doesn't surprise me, you're way hung up on demographic issues.
Black, gay, muslim - these are all pressure points for you.
And you would be the significant cause of societal tension.
I don't give a $#@! what religion you are nor do I give a $#@! about your opinions about my faith. Mind you're own $#@!ing business, I'll mind mine and we'll get along fine.
