Medical Examiner ~ Autopsy Shows No Significant Injuries

The initial autopsy on Bobbi Kristina Brown released Monday showed she did not suffer significant injuries that caused her death.

The autopsy also did not find any medical conditions that might have contributed to the 22-year-old's death, according to the Fulton County Medical Examiner's office in Georgia.

The Fulton County Medical Examiner's office said subpoenas have been issued to help find more information about her death, and additional testing will be performed.

A death certificate will not be completed until "all test results are completed and all investigative, medical, and other documentary records are received and thoroughly reviewed," which could take several weeks, according to the medical examiner's office.

Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard said the ultimately-fatal incident is still under investigation.

Nick Gordon, who has been described as Brown's boyfriend and husband, has been accused in a lawsuit of causing "life threatening bodily harm and damages" to Brown.

Earlier, the medical examiner's office said in a statement that the nearly six months between the day Brown was found in the tub and her death "will complicate reconstruction of the events surrounding her initial unresponsiveness."

She died pretty similar to the way her mother died in a bathtub. Damn shame, Whitney houston was beautiful and talented beyond many others. She got hooked on the poison, some say her husband hooked her, I wont make that statement I have no way of knowing. Now her daughter dies so young. Just a damn shame.

Drug overdoses are often caused by differences in drug strength. For example, there was a surge in heroin deaths on the East Coast a few years back. It was due to a change in suppliers, where the "cuts" (attenuation) to the heroin was drastically reduced. People were overdosing because they assumed that the heroin they had just bought from their black market dealer was the same strength as their previous purchases.

In addition, black market dealers cut their drugs with god-knows-what. Milk powder is a standard for heroin, for example. But black market dealers have also used whatever was available: soap flakes, dishwasher detergent, rat poison.

During Prohibition, people used to die from wood alcohol poisoning, from bathtub booze made by people who didn't know or didn't care about things like that. When was the last you heard of Jack Daniels or Gallo poisoning their customers?
