I suggest reading up on the issue. It's sort of complicated.
What the current FCC regulation means is that the internet stays as is. Companies are not going to be allowed to limit access or speed in a pay to play scenario. It allows equal access to all people and all companies.
OK, I see that may be a good thing, but you know as well as I do, if you give them an inch they take a mile. You know the "camel's nose in the tent" scenario.
If you give them the authority, who knows where it will end with future minds making decisions. Look at Social Security, it started out as non taxable income.
Ajit Pai is one of the FCC commissioners. He is against the FCC controlling the internet. He thinks that if you knew what was in the proposal you would be against it too. But like Obama care they don't want you to know what is in it till the FCC controls the net
Conspicuously visible on Pai’s desk is Wheeler’s net neutrality proposal, which has been circulated among the FCC commissioners but not released to the public. Pai has repeatedly wielded the bulky document as a prop in media appearances to condemn Wheeler’s plan and to needle the chairman for refusing to publish the text ahead of the FCC’s vote.
