    If she hadn't, she would never get my vote for president. I have never cast a ballot for anyone who voted for the use of force resolution unless the individual later admitted their vote was a mistake, nor will I.

    I think somewhere is a list of required traits to be a successful politician...spines are optional equipment.
    Feeding congress cherry picked intel from bad sources didn't exactly help. In the post 9/11 world, being told (being lied to) that Iraq harbored AQ and was just moments away from possessing a nuclear device would convince the most ardent peacenik that invasion was a good option.

    @Cigar - here's my proof, campaign strategy.

    It will work too, because people want to believe her. Voters are gullible like that.

    Why am I trying to explain this to you....

    I don't nessarly like Hillary for President and I wish The Domocratic Party had more choices. But if I had a choice between another Bush, or a lying Walker or a Moron like Paul ... a Clinton Wins hands down.

    I'm not happy with the choice, but it's the choices I have. But remember, the real Campagning hasn't started, so maybe Hillary will stumble coming out of the Gates.

    I am still wondering if Hillary will run. I don't see why she has not declared her candidacy yet...unless there was some real doubt. She is leading in all the polls but that could be due to no one else daring to announce. Anyone else who runs would want her support so they would wait until she makes it clear what her intentions are.

    Imo: the rest of the repubs can just quit and start campaigning for Jeb. He wants the nomination, he will get it. The Bush family has a political organization that equals if not surpasses anything the Kennedy family had.

    She doesn't have too ... right now she's waiting for Jebby to clear out the right-wing asylum by taking all their money ... LOL

    No one has declared they are running to the best of my knowledge. The election is still what, 20 months away? The conventions aren't until the summer after this one.

    & political fallout

    Neocons scapegoated Saddam for 9/11, which was a great reason to stick our dick in the ME door. Used a half-baked WMD excuse. Yeah, he had some but he wasn't a threat to us in any way.

    North Korea and Iran have weapons and are a real and present danger, yet they go virtually unabated.

    This is the brilliance of the Neocon strategy.
    Yep. & Pakistan (& India) have nukes, & delivery systems. Pakistan is a shambles, politically, economically & militarily. The junta & ISI there are forever gearing up to lose their next war with India (See E. Pakistan). If the Pakistani government & military ever teeter out of control, or even give the appearance of doing so - it will become a race there. US, India, China (?) & Israeli forces will attempt to either seize & take the warheads (for their contents, & to study the design, etc.) or destroy them in place.

    Casualties & economic loss - depending on the prevailing winds - could be immense. & of course the terrain & watersheds will be unusable for a long time, depending on whether there are actual nuclear detonations, squibs, or meltdowns. A v. ugly scenario, no matter how it actually turns out.
