Whoever criticizes capitalism, while approving immigration, whose working class is its first victim, had better shut up. Whoever criticizes immigration, while remaining silent about capitalism, should do the same.

Twist all you want, IF it happens that is exactly how they will play it. Closing loopholes and eliminating cuts is not raising taxes. Those taxes are already there tbyve just been temporarily delayed.

I am all for it! That way the next president can do things like kill all investigation into business taxes and kill funding to all of the liberal pet projects like planed parenthood!

then we can just get rid of congress and the Senate because they don't matter anymore.

By executive order or did your state congress approve it?

Does not pass the smell test

MONTGOMERY, Alabama --- Gov. Robert Bentley said Monday he is opposed to raising taxes but not necessarily to eliminating some deductions, including one that benefits many Alabama families.
Bentley said elimination of the deduction allowed on state income taxes for federal taxes paid is one idea under consideration to fix a budget shortfall for next year and address long-term funding needs of state government.
Voters would have to approve the change.
"I am not for raising taxes and this actually would not be raising taxes," Bentley said. "It would be taking away some deductions. That is certainly one of the things we'll be looking at."
The General Fund is expected to be about $265 million or more short in fiscal year 2016, which starts Oct. 1.

Polwatch completely misses to point of this thread and babbles on about her state government instead of the threat of dictatorship by obumer.

I'm not twisting you are by changing the word "revenue" into taxes. ARTICLE I, SECTION 7, CLAUSE 1 states "raising Revenue" not taxes.

It's ok if you disagree with me. I can't force you to be right.

The trouble with the Obama apologists is they don't realize that what they are doing now can be done against them when the tables are turned and repubs are in power.

obama is a dangerous man who is undermining the civil stability of our tublic by trying to rule by decree instead of political consensus.

He wouldn't be raising anything. Simply removing barriers to it.
