    Oh, mama, I might die...

So, the church I attend has a special bible study every third Saturday of the month. At the end of the bible study, we play dodgeball.

Now, before tonight I've never played. I haven't played dodgeball in ten years, and back then I was really good at it. One of the best. I was always being complimented on my agility and told I should have gotten involved in professional sports, particularly as running back in football. Never did, though.

Tonight was different. Tonight, I let the adults and some of the kids goad me into playing. "You're always talking about how great you used to be!" "Put your money where your mouth is!"

So I played. Turns out, I still have the moves. What I learned, though, is that trying to do the same moves you did ten years ago with your today body...it hurts like a mutha. Particularly my thighs.

Anyone know a good remedy for aching thigh muscles? I could barely get in and out of my car...

if ya don't keep moving, it will tighten up more and hurt worse! I've found that when I ache, moving helps me to work the pain out quicker. If I sit around, the muscles bunch up even more.

Your muscles need hydration about 2 quarts of water. So a and anti inflammatory . So Advil or Aspirin

Also Green Teas will help carry away the inflammation.

PS Good for you, the next time that you play it will be easier.

    Icy Hot

    For pain, Sodium Naproxine

Cheap, over counter and lasts and lasts.

Well if you have not been active, you are not accustom to hydration and a hard workout will dehydrate you!

    Just a guess.

You can work the pain out by moving, it comes back but not as bad. You gotta keep moving all the time and then that doesnt happen. You just tored down muscles you havent been using.
