To be honest, I haven't read Murray's book yet. I think his argument is basically that given the power of government we now face that working within it to change it is hopeless and that civil disobedience is the only solution.

The only time people can come together to rise to fight for freedom without permission is when people finally realize that the (D)'s and the (R)'s work under one government and they realize that they have become the enemy of the people. People need to stop buying into the dog and pony shows that they portray to the public to keep them divided.
The reason for division is so no one wants to attack the government without hurting their preferred party.
