A friend's mother was an old fashioned southern lady...she wouldn't say poop if she had a mouthful. She was so bad to avoid mentioning anything related to bodily functions that she used many different cute names for the bathroom. They finally ended up just calling the bathroom the Euphemism.

That's funny. My mom was ridiculous with her avoidance of anything sexual. (my poor father)


When I got pregnant with my first baby, my dad would say "she's in a family way".

My ex husband would say, "my wife's knocked up", my mom would almost pass out.

My ex-mother in law would not say pregnant (she had 6 kids)....she called it puggity....don't ask me where that came from!
