My cousin and I went to our local Lake Elizabeth (man made by city) where it has some sort of stream running into it. There were then crayfish there. Those things are not large. To catch them can be fun. Trying to get the meat out is a heck of a mess. Maybe in Alabama they get a lot larger. But here I think the foreign people keep them culled out.
By the time my cousin and I finished shelling them, i had lost interest in them.
