    Texas Republican Comes Out For Gay Marriage As State House Passes 'Pastor Protection

    Texas Republican Comes Out For Gay Marriage As State House Passes 'Pastor Protection Act'
    By John Wright

    http://www.towleroad.com/2015/05/tex...ction-act.html
    "GOP Rep. Sarah Davis, who represents a Houston-area district and had previously expressed support for civil unions, came out for marriage equality in an interview Thursday about her decision not to sign a hateful anti-gay letter issued by the House Republican Caucus last week."
    =================================
    This can only go to show that there are Republican legislators who favor marriage equality and who have the guts to come forward and let others know that they do. The Republican Houston State Rep. is in favor of same-sex marriage. Other Republicans should learn from her to stop the intolerance that has become ever so pervasive in Conservative circles and emulate Representative Davis' stance. Thanks to Towleroad for this report.
    Let's see how much care and compassion Trump and Republicans show for their fellow Americans to truly help them out in their time of need.

    Let's start the count to see if Trump comes through on the many things he promised to do for Americans. If he doesn't, along with a Republican Congress, then what's his and their excuse?

    Surprise: Republican Texan supports gay marriage

    Not a surprise: Homophobic Texas legislature is scared of gays.

    Yes, they certainly are! As a matter of fact, they're literally shaking in their boots. Why if they weren't they would leave Gays alone and mind their own damn business that is sure to be in big disarray and that needs immediate fixing. But Republicans at the lege. would be hard-pressed to look in their own back yard due to the fact that they are too busy looking into a Gay and Lesbian's bedroom and business. Pathetic aren't they!

    Mike, your question certainly deserves an answer. Even though this is very much a Political State Legislative item that truly belonged where I had originally placed it "The Latest Happenings", some mods, by habit, like to relegate anything that is LGBT-related into a 'back seat' area, so to speak, and that's the area they like to throw these items in when they and Conservatives don't want to deal with them in their proper area as originally posted.
