Trans people are ill. I'm not afraid to state the obvious. Moreover, it doesn't help them to pretend all is well. Clearly, it's not.
Whoever criticizes capitalism, while approving immigration, whose working class is its first victim, had better shut up. Whoever criticizes immigration, while remaining silent about capitalism, should do the same.

I would argue that they suffer from depression for a few reasons. Probably because they are not comfortable with themselves and probably because of the way they are treated and ostracized by other children and adults.

I know a trans person who has transitioned (my friends little brothers girlfriend) and you would never guess that she was a dude. She suffered a lot growing up and trust me, she is not mentally ill.

I don't think it is so ludicrous to suggest that being transgendered would $#@! with someone's mind.

Yes, it probably would. Then mockery and stigmatization only further exacerbate the issue.

Agreed. There certainly is a stigma there and that simply isn't fair to the individual.

The double-edged sword is to actually admit that being a transgendered individual will require psychological attention and that is because they have that specific condition. On the PC side you have people screaming that it's normal and OK. That may very well be but that has nothing to do with the required medical attention one may need to live a happy and fulfilled life.

I'd be fine with transgender kids, not transgender councilors.

I have no issue with the stuff, but don't tell me a ham sandwich is a pizza. It's not.

The mentally ill are suffering hence the descriptor "illness". Again, we're not helping anyone when we pretend nothing is wrong. I will not countenance making fun of these people any more than I would a person with Down's Syndrome but I will also not pretend that person is healhty.

She? If she was really a she she's not a "dude".

Oh, and after mutilating herself she still won't be.
