I know the fat is pretty good for you. I wished I liked salmon. It's a bony fish though.

Years ago we used to fish for Whiting and blue fish, whiting is fantastic first filet and lightly dipped in egg and italian bread crumbs and fried. Better than cod in my opinion and I like cod.

Smoked whiting is really good. Blues fish I liked to catch but didnt like to eat.

I'm a little too lazy to hunt but fishing sounds like it will really pay off.

I was was raised duck and pheasant hunting. Can't do it any more. When I fish for trout I'm pretty much catch and release. I might keep one or two once in a while. I fly fish for trout in beaver ponds which are not stocked and the fish are native. I won't see another person other than my brother. I don't even show these beaver ponds yo my friends.

The last King Salmon I caught took 40 minutes to get him in the boat. He took a lot of line three times.

I dont eat farm raised salmon, after reading so much about farm raised fish I wont touch it anymore.

So which is better, wild caught alaskan or wild caught atlantic Salmon

I prefer pacific coho salmon.

Bluegill is bony.....You can buy a boneless filet of salmon that's at least 2 lb.

If you clean the fish right, it won't be bony for the most part. It isn't hard if you have the right knife- and sharp.

I guess most people go to the market.
