My dad mentioned him the other day and the gambling. I thought he was kicked out of MLB for gambling? Is this something new?

I believe he was originally removed for betting on games he wasnt playing in. Now its come to light he may have been gambling on games he was playing in, thats a whole other thing

Not sure about either point. I thought he did bet on games he managed. I could be wrong, I'm not a baseball fan.

I do however also believe that whatever he did he broke specific and clear rules. The fact that he may not have bet on games he played in is really irrelevant.

Having said all of that, I don't care either way. I'm not a fan and I'm neutral, although I do recognize the "legality" of the matter.

Ball players are offered sex a lot.

Even in the amateur ranks, it happens. It happened to my team a lot.

Edna told Chuck, my best pitcher she did not plan to show up for our games. Chuck picks up some babe at the bar prior to the games. The babe is in his motel room. As Chuck pitched the first game, Edna showed up and he saw her. He asked a person associated with my team to rush to the motel to get rid of the babe. He got lucky that day. Edna and he were married. Believe it or not, the babe shows up at the game and Chuck was very scared she would cause problems.
