The problem is when somebody declares himself as socialist, and not only that, but anarchosocialist, left of left, it is an ideology go the left of the liberalism, you expect find arguments backing that declaration, but when you find that the arguments align more with the conservative you start to doubt of that declaration.
I am anarchist, also of the collectivist branch and I have more in common with XL or Rina Dragonborn, anarchocapitalist than with Green Arrow, and that should not happen.
WORK AND FIGHT FOR THE REVOLUTION AND AGAINST THE INJUSTICE.
I would say a Pragmatist. Issues can be viewed thru apolitical lenses, left and right need not apply. That said, outside that purview: Some conservative and some liberal views with a slight nod to the latter.
Not too different from myself accept mine slight more to the former.
How did I do?
Always agree to disagree.
Always give the other poster the last word, whether correct or not.

I'm struggling to think of a time when I haven't defended socialist ideas. @Chris and I have gotten into a number of debates on socialism where I defended socialism and advanced socialist ideas.
As for Rand Paul, I support Rand Paul because I agree with his foreign policy and civil liberties stances, not because I agree with his economic stances.

Yes, you have always defended socialism. I think problem comes when in some topic where your choices are A or B where neither is socialism and you opine you prefer A or B some people mistake that for abandoning your true principles. For example, I will defend monarchy over democracy while still prefer anarchy over monarchy. Kilgram has always gotten confused about that.

I think another problem may be that I often argue a position I don't necessarily agree with, but want to know more about it. So, I'll grill an advocate of that position until I get an answer that satisfies my questions.
Probably makes it look like I'm part of the opposition, but meh. It's how I learn.
*EDIT* Like in my "Should businesses be forced to serve Nazis?" thread. I'm on the fence on the whole forcing businesses to serve people thing, but @Common Sense probably thinks I support the denial of service faction by now, lol.

Mostly though I just can't be fit into any one partisan box, and that confuses people that only see things as right, left, or centrist. I'm probably, honestly, the true definition of a "centrist."
One of these days, I'll write a book about my philosophy. By then, I'll probably have a name for it, lol.
