Keep in mind, I live on the Gulf Coast....we don't have a lot cold weather and what we have doesn't stick around more than a day or two.

I'd go to any of them, but I really only care to watch football on TV. The others I really don't watch, except for VCU basketball. That's kinda a thing in our house. I also have a roommate that watches the Detroit Tigers play, and I'll root for them, but I don't care to watch it on TV.

Going to games is a whole other story. It's a completely different thing. There's an energy that comes from the excitement of the fans gathered. It's an experience of its own.

Alright dude. I have to stop you here.

Hockey is probably one of the only sports worth watching. Football is like 45 minutes of playing with like 2 hours worth of commercials. Basketball is like a dance recital where even a stiff breeze will somehow hurt the players - who manage to miraculously recover after their layups from the referee.

And baseball? THAT is a cognitive tranquilizer to all sentient life.

Hockey usually has more motion than football, more interesting as well. Takes more skill to play it, and often times there are fights that break out - sometimes it gets pretty festive and a melee breaks out as well. And usually has enough body checking to go around to tide you over until something more interesting happens - like a series of passes then a goal. Not an easy feat on ice.

Any fool can throw a basketball to a buddy. A guy who can pass a puck well and has good stick handling is way cooler.

A hockey team would destroy a basketball team in a fight.

Hockey wins dude. Probably one of the manliest sports ever to be. Right up there with Parkour/free running.

    /chest thumping.

I admittedly didnt read the entire thread so if this is a repeat of what someone else said disregard.

I think theres not that many black playing hockey because of availablity for them to have use of a facility for it. Like swimming for many decades.

You just dont have available in black neighborhoods what you do in white. There are no skating rinks and Swimming pools usually. In all my years on the street I never saw any.
