Flame baiting is the act of saying outrageous things that are certain to antagonize other posters. Alleging that rape is associated with the left is both untrue and inflammatory. I think that you will find that most rapists suffer from feelings of inadequacy with regard to women (and often in general), and translate that to animus that provokes these actions, knowing that as a male, they are generally physically superior to most women and can take what they want. There is certainly a difference between consensual sexual role playing and rape. There are also women who like to be dominant and men who like to be submissive.

Funny how just about all things get called political .... I was simply making my personal observation.

That I am aware of, I once knew one rapist. And he could get laid all day long and twice each sunday. Women loved him. I saw many of them.

I don't think he raped due to power. I think the dumb smack saw something, figured she wanted him and raped her.

His rape so far as I am aware was not the violent sort. It may even have been cool to the girl. She was in her car. Ran out of gas. She got into his car to pick up gas. They go to his job at the mobile home sales place. Inside a new mobile home, they had sex. She was like 17-18. She finally got home and her dad got all over her for not being home. She then tells Daddy she got raped.

The scumbag went to prison.

Sure, there's a difference. And I wouldn't ever blame a woman for rape either, just saying, society breeds a certain mindset (pun not intended) and it's not hard to see that it would create rapists from time to time. Women also like to tease. I would think that would be a problem for a man that, as you say, suffers from feelings of inadequacy towards women.

Say she is 15 and really really tells her BF she wants sex. He is a dumb 21 year old man. He takes her up on her offer and just like that, he raped her.

Some women being raped are drunk and have no clue she got raped. She was a victim. I think the rapist was not into power, the SOB was sneaky and figures she would not know.
