That happens a lot here. Drought conditions are nothing new to the State and they will come and go as they have for thousands of years.

You can't know what you don't know, but how big does the handwriting have to be on the wall to see that the disappearance of major lakes on this planet is a bad thing?
I amused by the arrogant theory that man, an insignificant spec in the timeline of earth, has the power to destroy it.

The planet will be here long after man has ceased to exist.

The land and house that you live on/in right now and consider yours will be there long after you and your family are long gone too and may change dramatically, but I'd be willing to bet that you don't abuse the structure of your house, the appliances in your house, your yard, and so on. I doubt you show apathy towards the structure that keeps you safe and dry at night or towards the comfortable bed you lay in. I doubt you let trash and dirt and pollutants last long at all in your house or on your yard. The Earth is our home as a species and is the home to millions of other species. You don't ignore abuse in your house so don't ignore the abuse of life's home. The true arrogance is thinking that you don't have to care.

Changing ecosystems may very well be the reason man ceases to exist.

it is the deniers who are gullible. Science confirms the facts of climate change. Time to get you head out of the sand.

Some people thrive on seeing doom and gloom all over the world. That must be a demoralizing mind set to live with.

Obviously it was Ronald Reagan's fault.

Actually, just because you refuse to see it doesn't mean it doesn't.
