Not my point; I never said it was. What I meant is that if it WERE designed there would be far simpler methods to do it. In the same way that evolution results NOT in "survival of the fittest" but rather in "survival of the just adequate," evolution does NOT follow Occam's Razor: a biological system is not the simplest; it is, rather, whatever the hell WORKS.

Hmm, evolution is not it's products. Evolution is simple natural rules of mutation, selection and replication. That is why is not fittest but fitter. Out of that arises a universe of dynamic complexity.

The computer sim theory is no less bizarre than a lot of the stuff science and religion asserts, like both of there creation theories assertions.

Hmmmm.... I think I just figured out a way to prove whether or not we are in a simulation. And it could probably be done with a few thousand bucks of equipment. More later, after I get the story down (makes a hell of a short SF story).
