Tradition is not the worship of ashes, but the preservation of fire. ― Gustav Mahler

There's very little that's easy about my life right now. That's not to say that I'm complaining, it's just a simple fact.
We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars.

According to Jon you need to re-evaluate your life then.

Whoever criticizes capitalism, while approving immigration, whose working class is its first victim, had better shut up. Whoever criticizes immigration, while remaining silent about capitalism, should do the same.

I don't think he's talking about getting ahead, I think he's talking about another way to do things that makes life less stressful, while connecting you to other people at the same time.
He says his way of life makes him feel like he can do anything because he doesn't have fears like he did when larger society told him to start 'getting ahead'. He could just work 2 months and make more than enough for him and his family, but he decides to build more houses because as he put's it, 'he feels lighter, like he can do anything', and then he built a place called "Pon Pon", where he stores seeds for other farmers, since he was a farmer and that's what he felt would best help. After he stopped worrying about what he was feeling pressured to do (that globalist pressure, imo), and started doing what came naturally, he felt happier, which led him do more and help others.
And what I found to be really intriguing, was that it sounded like he was talking about what I think Taoist philosophy says is 'to be naturally human'. I would really want to know if this guy is Taoist.
