IDK about 2014, but I do know since Row V Wade in 1973 there have been 17 trillion (almost 3 holocausts worth) black baby abortions.

But no outrage from the left. You have to look at the big picture. Last year is a very small (and clearly agenda-driven) portion of the big picture.

As I see it, a truly religious and unconditional love for all people does not stop once a child is born, which is why I see many of the politically rights objections to abortion to be heretical to the Christian faith and pure, unadulterated hypocrisy. However, there is an explanation for such bizarre thoughts.

IMHO, most Christian faiths believe that at the moment of conception, God infuses the fetus with a "soul" and a free-will. The common belief here is we all have these mystical souls. God wants these souls back but to share in his Divine love, we must earn that right, which can only be attained through living. If a fetus is not born, and is aborted, that soul goes to a place they call "Limbo", thus denying God that soul. The conventional religious logic here is that once that fetus is born, it's every man/woman for themselves. This explains why, especially with the Protestant Evangelicals, interest in the welfare of the newly born person drops to zero.

Christian faith is $#@!ing retarded. But that's neither here nor there. When I bring up abortion I am constantly told to stay on topic.

So the topic here is abortion. Discuss it or GTFO. Take your religious babble to the correct subforum.

/Edit: Warn me for the language if you want mods. I truly don't give a $#@!. I'm tired of the hypocrisy. If I have to stay on topic so does everybody else.

Lol. Million. Sorry. I guess I got debt in my head. 17 million. (~3 holocausts, as I said, so you know I wasn't wrong or being deceptive)

I've been up since 6 last night. Forgive me for being tired.

    http://www.abort73.com/abortion/abortion_and_race/

In 2009, a total of 286,623 blacks died in the U.S.14 That same year, an estimated 1.21 million abortions took place in the United States.15 If 35.4% were performed on black women, that means almost twice as many blacks were killed by abortion as by all other causes. In 2010, the black population in the U.S. stood just shy of at 39 million.16 The CDC reports that during the 1970's, roughly 24% of all U.S. abortions were performed on black women.17 That percentage rose to 30% in the 1980's, 34% in the 1990's and 36% in the 2000's.18 That means that about 31% of all U.S. abortions since 1973 have been performed on African American women. Based on the January 2013 estimate that there have been 55.7 million abortions in the United States since 1973,19 we can deduce that approximately 17 million of the aborted babies were black. Despite an overall black population growth of 12% between 2000 and 2010, the U.S. Census Bureau reports that the black population "grew at a slower rate than most other major race and ethnic groups in the country."20

What would really blow your mind is the number of white babies that have been aborted during the same period. If you cared, of course...

They have not explained how this soul is treated as medical waste....unless they want to argue against choice. Its a matter of convenience. If they actually believed that a soul is present at conception, they would have been baptizing miscarriages for centuries....and requiring full funeral procedures (as is required for stillbirths). Eventually they will notice this gap in their logic.

I would guess that there is some sort of rule against baptizing a fetus leastways Christian mom's would be having it done immediately after conception. I've read where Catholic dogma has something called "Baptism by Blood or Martyrdom" which covers abortions and miscarriages. I do not know if it carries over to the Protestant faiths.

You'd almost think there should be Christian charities all over the place...oh wait lol
