    Marriage is a partnership. Duty? Maybe its my view of the word but I don't think I have a duty to act in a specific way according to some set rule....my husband doesn't either. We both contribute to the family. There have been times when he wasn't working & I was the bread-winner and times it was the reverse. If we had a 'duty' it was to the family as a unit, not as individuals. We divided responsibilities according to ability & situation.

    Misogyny like racism has conceptually been spread out too thin. Is defining traditional relationship-gender roles misogynistic? That's a matter of opinion I think and I don't agree.

    When there's a huge spider in the shower and she comes running to me to deal with it, is that misandristic? I don't think so. Or when the battery in the lawn tractor needs changed?

    Like anything else, people get way too hung up on $#@! like this. Chill the $#@! out already.
