I just realized this is the first time I've ever posted a pro-Floyd position...
I'm a bit uncomfortable and will now leave the thread and take a shower.
It hard to measure the strength advantage, although I'm sure it's a decent advantage, at the very least, for Floyd. However, it should be noted that while Ronda competes at 135, and Floyd competes in the 140 and 150s, MMA is a sport notorious for huge weight cuts, much more so than boxing, and that the size difference is not quite as big as the weight classes they compete in would suggest.
And I respectfully disagree about the strength negating her considerable advantage in skill. He's not quite large enough or strong enough for it to negate her skill. If he were 190lbs+, then I'd be inclined to agree, but that isn't the case. Also, Judo, which is her primary background, is more skill and leverage based than wrestling, which would make the strength and size factor mean even less than it would had she been a wrestler.
I still think Floyd would be to fast and too good on the feet for Ronda, I'd put my money on Floyd, but I do think Ronda would have a shot, and if Floyd slipped up, got caught, or instinctively initiated the clinch, Ronda could catch him. It's all conjuncture anyway, the fight will never happen, nor should it.

I'm a pretty large and athletic guy with some level of training and I wouldn't even fancy my chances. It's easy to armchair, but there is a big difference between the elite of the elite and the average Joe, even considering that her division is a neophyte one and rather shallow at the moment.
She fights at 135, cuts upwards of 15lbs of water weight to make the weight class, and walks around heavier in the offseason. So no, she's not walking around at 130lbs, she gets as heavy as 155-165. And this is why you should know the facts before blathering out baseless assertions.

Not to derail the thread but I really like that polish Joanna Jdzdkfj;laomgwhatever chick. I think she's the future of female mma. She's the only woman fighter I've seen that can really throw punches like a man.
Hope she moves up soon. Not much else for her to do in straw weight anyways.
I do like Ronda but the thrill was gone a while ago. I don't go out of my way to watch her fights simply due to the lack of competition. It's not her fault but it is boring and predictable all the same.
Take down/arm bar.....next. Then act super excited as if she was just in a close brawl? You equivalently just punched a baby, grats.
