    ted williams would be 97 today.

    In 2002 I had the honor of meeting Ted Williams. I was clerking a hearing with him and his son, who was now in charge of his memorabilia and trade mark. There was a family squabble over who would control his estate and valuable items and some phony stuff on the market lowering the value of his items. He was a very handsome, personable older gentleman who was very sweet to me. We spoke for about 20 minutes after the hearing and he gave me his autograph. A very nice man. My husband was very jealous. lol

    Teddy Ballgame. Sad he never was on a Series winning team. I was at Fenway the day his number was retired. Cool to see him ride around the park in that golf cart.
