    The tax payers pay the government benefits. Big business (largely) pays the wages for illegals and unskilled legal immigrants.

    That's true. While I see people complaining about the illegal problem we have, I also don't see them hiring the contractor that uses American citizens exclusively because of price. That was my point with the Walmart comparison. The construction industry is a big driver of jobs for illegals next to farms.

    I guess the reality is not many support this notion (that allowed their ancestors to enjoy the freedom that America offers).
