I believe it. Anyone that has those kinds of issues with people who don't do anything to directly hurt you, people who go out of their way to stop people from engaging in nonviolent endeavors have issues, be it latent homosexuality or something else.

A phobia is a fear.

I did in fact vote trying to assist them.

I really felt sorry for their alleged problems so voted for them to have legal rights.

Marriage is like driving a car. To drive a car does not mean you can also pilot an airplane. It is different.

Civil unions took care of all the problems. We in CA were more than generous trying to help them.

But they turned on us.

Absent the biological prerogative, humans pair bond all the time. There must be something beyond procreation, because having kids is not the number one reason that people marry. Most people marry not even knowing whether kids are an option. They marry because of the relationship and perhaps common goals regarding kids. It is true that some will divorce if kids are impossible, but they are the minority. Some people divorce because they didn't want kids.

Maybe the Democrats don't marry to have children, but when I was still a Democrat and got married, I sure wanted a child. More than my wife at the time wanted. She had a health reason but we rolled the dice and it worked out fine.

Be careful of generalizing. Marriage for a man and woman has a range of purposes. First, non married, the children are cut out. The woman does not need marriage to be secure since she is as secure as the man. Way back, the woman was not equal in advantage. But men had it hard at the time as well. Few today could accept the life of Jim Bowie or Davy Crockett nor even George Washington.

Women would be aghast at the kitchen at Mt. Vernon.

Matter of fact, the old houses had such tiny closets if they had any, women today can't stand those.

I am not of today's generation but if the left took them away from traditional marriage, I feel so sorry for them.

Yes, that certainly wasn't difficult to demonstrate. The only such definition that looked even remotely legitimate was the one claiming some homosexuals suffer from a pathological self-loathing we may as well call homophobia.
