    Eggshell powder

Anyone consume eggshells? From what I understand they 're pretty good for you. A single gram of eggshell powder has 90% of the RDA of Calcium. If this is easy to do I may save a few shells and make a small amount of powder every week. A coffee grinder is recommended for the making the powder then you mix with water and down the hatch.

Yeah but in fairness how can one truly have a serious discussion about eating egg shells?

Yes, eggshells are very good for dog's coats.

I don't think you're supposed to use Easter Eggs.

You could just eat them whole but that would probably hurt a bit in passing.

Brewer's yeast is supposed to be very good for you too, as well as being good for animals' skin and coats while keeping fleas away, to boot.

I give it to both my cats. They have virtually no fleas and I don't have to pay through the nose just to put poison on their skin.

I do keep them inside, though.
