Green Day is not Punk. They are punk rock.

Not going to dignify it by posting some videos, but punk rock is garbage like Green Day, Good Charlotte, Blink 182, and other nonsense. punk rock is more pop-influenced than true Punk.
The difference is clear, but many people get it wrong. If they sell it at a store (yes, including Hot Topic) or play it on the radio, it's not Punk. It's punk rock.
