What is the event that stopped each and everyone of the mass shootings that has happened since Columbine?

A Second gun arrived on the scene!

Why liberals want that gun as far away from the nut job shooting up the schools is beyond me.

We could hold a contest open to anyone for novel designs of three classes of reactors. One would be building-sized to provide all the electrical power for a state of the art high-rise, say a ten story building (businesses). The second would be for a town-sized mixed use with no more than 25,000 users. The third would be sized for a city of one million. Judge the solution based on safety, energy efficiency, operating simplicity, and the inability to convert by-products into a weapon. Make the prize a billion dollars plus reimbursement for all reasonable research costs. Make it open to everybody. Then anyone who wants the plans can have them for a very reasonable fee.

How about one small enough to fit in my cellphone so I don't have to remember to charge the damn thing?

That would be interesting. Add it to the list. Someone may surprise us.

The whole world is waiting for something like that. emission free transportation, devices you don't have to plug in, "starship troopers" armor, sky is the limit if you can get a small but powerful source.

That might just give you Cancer. Not sure about the whole radio wave thing, but radiation does have pretty strong evidence to suggest....

I was hoping they wouldn't forget the shielding!

I would think you could shield the power source instead of the whole phone if you can actually make a reactor that small.

Or who knows? Maybe cold fusion is real?

They're being developed by a lot of different organizations. I imagine between the green gestapo and government regulations, it will be a long time before they're ever implemented on a large scale.
