I’m sure they couldn’t care less. Seriously though, not all the world is American with the freedoms you take for granted.

GA, you’re definitions change as to whatever your opinions are at the time and how ideologies should fit them, not how they fit ideologies. You say I reject your definition of Socialism and then go on to say they should change because we’re human. If you concentrate on what is and not what you think it is, you’ll get it right. From there you could argue on opinions as to what’s wrong with it.

Ideologies are not about ‘tweaking’, they’re static. Opinions are about tweaking and then wondering why the ideology is wrong and doesn't fit your opinion. It’s not just me, most of you are arguing with each other over what you individually mean.

Some thoughts on America. They’re not disparaging, they’re a quick look, in my opinion, (and that’s what it is), on how America sees itself and how others see America. Don’t get upset, it’s just me ‘tweaking’.

Things like ‘regime change’ and ‘Arab springs’ or ‘all the world wants democracy’ are concepts that sound strange to anyone outside America. Protecting yourselves by invasions, Marxists masquerading as Democrats, or mass social equality welfare being a norm for a society leaves the rest of the world scratching its head. We can’t understand why you want to export democracy, but are heading into Marxism yourselves. To the rest of us, it’s as though you’re having a Maoist, ‘Great leap forward’ and ‘cultural revolution’ of your own and are thinking of terms to come up with this amazing new American invention.

I’ve lived under Socialism and I live under Communism and that’s why, despite your varying definitions, I can see where you’re heading and so can the rest of Europe. You haven’t dreamed up some new utopia for yourselves, you’re bogged down in old style European ideologies. A collapsing economy, shattered cities, increasing poverty, the rich getting richer . . . . . think, much of Europe! Do you really think a collapsed Detroit is an American invention, you suddenly invented mass welfare, or that ‘Change you can believe in’ is any different from the UK’s, ‘things can only get better’ or the old, ‘We’ll keep the red flag flying here’?

As many of you are struggling to make sense of what’s going on around you, your children are now at this moment singing songs in praise of Obama and your Universities are spewing out Marxist propaganda to receptive gullible ears. Left to carry on in another ten years’ time, as you’re still struggling to work out what Socialism is, your children will explain to you what Marxist progressivism is, just as they did in the old USSR and still do in places like North Korea and China.

Some of you get it, many are still at the WTF stage wondering what has hit you.

The barrier is the limited and flawed reasoning of humans. Some things are impossible for us, like reinventing man and society.

No, I really don't think that's it. I'm familiar with classical terms; you don't seem to be using them. You seem to have your own set of terms, which lump together disparate ideologies for which various classical terms were coined. You seem to reject classical nuance as needlessly messy and deliberately confusing.

This is your prerogative of course; but one predictable result is that others may decide it isn't worth slogging through a battle over terminology prior to engaging you. Whether this is a positive or negative result is for you to say.
