"Begging the question" (petitio principii) means assuming something as already proven and basing the argument on that false foundation, just as you took it for granted that the owners should get credit for the creating the products they sell. Owners don't run the company; the employees are what makes the company run. As in sports, where the credit should go to the players, only secondarily to the coaches, and last of all to the owners.

Here is the most destructive example of that fallacy: Marbury v. Madison, where SCROTUS interpreted the Constitution as giving them the right to interpret the Constitution. Here's a more obvious example: "God wouldn't let us believe in Him if He didn't exist, because God is truth."
