    Well lets just take a look and see at how great those programs are

    fire Dept, Great they do a fantastic job, but the government got involved have early retirement and we can't afford them any longer

    Public Schools The USA once the envy of the world with out education system. The government gets involved in the late 70's and now we spend more per student than anywhere in the world, and the decline is so dramatic that our children can't read or even count change upon graduation.

    Social Security. Stealing 6.5% from the worker and the employer and forcing them to live in poverty instead of the prosperity that this money would produce for them and their families in the private sector.

    and Highways. In case you have not looked, they are falling apart.

    That is what Government has provided and we are only 18+trillion in debt.

    Firefighters are typically the highest paid inner-city employees, more than mayors in many/most cases.

    Roads - drive through New York State. One of the highest taxed nanny states, roads all suck. Funny how that works.
