It all resonates of Wall St, doesn't it?

Cycling's governing body, the UCI, must now decide whether to endorse the decision by the US Anti-Doping Agency to strip Armstrong of his seven Tour victories and all his other race results since Aug. 1, 1998, following its assertions that he doped and conspired with others to conceal it. Hamilton was among those USADA interviewed.Whether the UCI has the stomach to put the boot into Armstrong remains to be seen. But, ultimately, whether it accepts USADA's findings or not seems less important than the bigger picture that Millar, Vaughters, disgraced 2006 Tour winner Floyd Landis and now Hamilton have belatedly revealed to us that the sport was putrid.
    That era is worthless.
So Armstrong (not the one who says he landed on the Moon) was drugged to the eyeballs. Maybe the other one was too.

This happens so routinely with American athletes (remember Marion Jones?) that I imagine it will only be just time before the authorities figure out what Michael Phelps takes.

When I was in High School I knew many dads that would put their sons on steroids hoping they would get a sport scholarship. My dad refused and my brother did get a baseball scholarship. I don't know how I feel about taking away things just because some one must to have convinced them they needed this edge. Was it them, the coaches or maybe the parents?

Steroids yes, but in the 70's most players didn't like the pot smokers ect. Things have changed a lot.

Here is more hope for Americans in all walks and rides of life.

They will be able now to make even faster mistakes.

The top two spots on the list of the world's most powerful supercomputers have both been captured by the US.
The last time the country was in a similar position was three years ago.
The fastest machine - Titan, at Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Tennessee - is an upgrade of Jaguar, the system which held the top spot in 2009.
The supercomputer will be used to help develop more energy-efficient engines for vehicles, model climate change and research biofuels.
It can also be rented to third-parties, and is operated as part of the US Department of Energy's network of research labs.

And people say potheads never accomplish anything.
Clearly all you need to be an Olympic athlete is a nice big bowl of weedies in the morning.

Wonder when it will be my turn to compete.
