I think the number of people who are actually offended by those kinds of sentiments is greatly exaggerated - mostly by those who want to make themselves appear more virtuous, religious, patriotic, traditional, etc., for expressing them. Only one person in a thousand would throw a fit because someone said "Merry Christmas" to them, and that person is a nut.

They are registered Democrats as well. <<<< that is not a joke.

It would be nice if we could start to see posters who, when engaging a discussion, at least brought a higher level of knowledge in the topic with them than the average dimwit on the street.

Beeve, what if I told you that two thirds of the black community support the concept of "all lives matter" over one of "black lives matter". Or that the largest march concerning the "lives matter" theme happened in Birmingham earlier in the year, with 30K marchers, and that the specific theme was "All lives matter". And OBTW, over half the marchers were black, and included MLK's niece.

Point being, the majority of blacks not only do not demonize the police, but support them. Would that give you pause to consider not posting like such a dimwit ?
