If Trump skips the debate Cruz will win Iowa.

Also keep in mind the guru of predictions, can't think of his name ESPN Bracketology guy former political analyst best in the biz says Cruz is most likely winner in Iowa based on all the numbers.

    I doubt it.

Cruz will likely win Iowa regardless, it won't be because Trump skipped out on the debate. The debates really don't have much to do with polling. Rand Paul, for example, was booted from the main stage of the last debate and boycotted the undercard debate. The result? He got a boost in the polls.

I tend to agree with that, but my point really is he has no chance if he had any if he skips the debate. I think voters their will take it personally. It is in Des Moines, it is a big deal, 1 out of 2 haven't made their minds up.....

I don't buy the Rand Paul example, he bled votes and then got a slight boost. He wasn't a leader. what is his net since entering?

Rand Paul looks like a dream candidate now in comparison.

I didn't say it was a big boost, I just said he got a boost. The bleeding stopped and he got a little blood back.

Trump will actually probably stand a better chance of winning Iowa if he skips on the debate. He's not going to lose his 41% support nationally just because he skipped out on a debate. The only way that would work is if the media stopped covering him and nobody outside the campaign trail heard from him, which isn't going to happen.

Any repub is better than hillary or bernie.

Rand Paul is under appreciated and I put him in 3rd place on my list.
