Cool 'We Have Recovered': Obama Touts Success Amid Unemployment Dip

    Source: NBC News

Buoyed by wage-gains and record low unemployment, President Barack Obama underscored on Friday that his administration's efforts have helped usher in an economic recovery.

"We should be proud of the progress we have made," Obama told reporters during an appearance at the White House press briefing. "We have recovered from the worst economic crisis since the 1930s."

U.S. employers added 151,000 jobs in January, a deceleration from recent months as companies shed education, transportation and temporary workers but hired others in manufacturing, retail and food services.

The unemployment rate dipped to 4.9 percent, its lowest level since early 2008.

So let me get this straight; last month there was almost twice the jobs created than this month; and because there were HALF as many jobs created, the unemployment rate DROPS .1 percent and we should be cheering because 100,000 FEWER jobs were created?

GDP growth for the last two quarters was anemic; what is so good about this?

I cannot fathom the level of retardation it takes to buy into such moronic talking points or claims from this arrogant, pompous, economically clueless liar named Obama.

    Why?

Older people are working longer. The people dropping out of the work force are in the younger age groups.

This is at least the 6th time that I have posted this article from Forbes. Without any comment, much less a counter to it.

It contains the numbers of who is contributing to the drop in the Labor Force Participation Rate.

Anyway it is there to read. I won't bother wasting pasting the important parts. It will be completely ignored.
