This isn't going to play well with patriots. Or the union.
I absolutely agree with that. If you can't support the mission you can always show the courage of your convictions and resign.

I retired from the Army earlier than I had planned because I no longer could support the leadership at the top levels. I resigned from the Sheriff's department because I had strong disagreements with the direction the department was going.

And when my leadership in the Sheriff's department told me that I had to ignore more and more criminal activity and make certain arrests for political reasons, I resigned. I should have done it a year earlier.

In this case, the agents want to follow the law.

Der Fuhrer makes the laws as he goes along.

So at best the border agents want to follow the law as it was before obumer changed it.

thats fine, but if the authorities in charge are not willing to do that by order of the POTUS, one is left with two choices. Either follow orders or resign.

A law abiding citizen should not lose their livelihood because the CIC tells them to break the law! They as well as he are sworn to uphold the law. So, they need to now become the biggest whistleblowers on the planet.

A lot of things which shouldn't happen do happen all the time. One is always faced with difficult decisions.

When you disagree with your boss you have choices. Make that choice and live with it.

It's not as though anyone would be shocked to discover that we are ignoring our immigration laws. If they are, all I can believe is that they have been freeze dried for the last few decades or so.

Or collect your paycheck and wait for new political leaders. They come and go pretty fast in the eyes of career feds.

During my final few months as a sheriff's deputy we were ordered to not apprehend illegal aliens any longer. We had no place to take them. The ICE detention facility was no longer accepting them. The county jail wasn't accepting them unless the committed a felony crime as well.

When I finally had enough of being told that we needed to ignore several criminal acts, I made the choice to resign. Best choice I ever made.
