    That's not very democratic either.

    They won't whine about what fits into their agenda.

    They're a bunch of wanna-be's without a clue.

    I'd join the march and risk getting arrested.

    I'm afraid if you don't know, I cannot explain it. People like Nelson Mandel, Aung San Suu Kyi, Liu Xiaobo, Mohandas Gandhi, Martin Luther King Jr., Rosa Parks, Susan B Anthony, Roxana Saberi and others were all arrested for protesting.

    That's a cop out. Each and every one of those people you listed could verbalize why they took parts in protests and civil disobedience.

    Your, "...if you don't know, I cannot explain it," rings empty.

    It's the battle cry of a bandwagon-rider who has no idea why he got on said bandwagon.

    =============================
    Thanks to Democracy Spring for this report.

    Imho and as a matter of fact, people all over America are now rising up mad as hell and they are not going to take it anymore with regard to political spending on campaigns and Citizens United. They are organizing now and will have a march and then a sit-in at the nation's capitol starting April 2nd and going on through the 18th. They obviously mean business and Washington Congressmen and Senators have got to listen to their message and then correct the wrong that has taken place ever since Citizens United was ruled as approved and sanctioned by the SCOTUS. It must be reversed and done away with so that those who do not have money to compete in elections may have equal opportunity that is so sorely needed at this time.

    I don't think I'm going to trust people who think meaningful action is just sitting around to save anything except maybe someone's seat.

    You call this country a democracy in your previous post and then say it isn't a democracy in your very next post. Which is it?

    Also, Germany in the 1930s was run by Nazis. It wasn't anything else other than a Nazi dictatorship. Nothing else worth caring about?
