Telling people to vote for Hillary because she is the lesser of the two evils between her and Trump might have been a good reason ... if there weren't an alternative to her to begin with.

There is an alternative. Democrats are consciously, purposely choosing their evil. They don't have to do that. But they are. Therefore, in November it won't hold water to say, "What choice do we have? We have to pick Hillary. She's the lesser of two evils."

Democrats, it was your choice to pick her. Don't ask me to bail you out with my vote because you chose such a bad candidate. That's like killing your parents and then asking the court to have pity on you because you're an orphan.

If voting for a president who could do the least damage then Sanders might be the answer. He wouldn't be able to get away with anything unlike a Clinton or perhaps a Trump. In hindsight wouldn't have George McGovern been a better choice for the same reason? We put our trust in people like Nixon or Clinton or Trump and we lose every time.

To be honest we should worry more about getting the right people into the house and senate and let them take back some of the power they have unconstitutionally ceded to the executive branch. The presidency has been owned by powerful people for a long time. If you aren't a player you won't get in. I think "they" are the "president" and every 4 to 8 years they just allow a player to be the face of their office. We need to change that.
