    8 family members dead - four separate homes in rural Ohio

    This appears to be a fairly professional job either hired or performed by someone with a massive grudge.

    Too much inbreeding a distinct possibility.

    Murders just happened yesterday. But as of about 30 minutes ago a $25,000 reward has been put up for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the perps.

    That was unusually quick.

The family is "large" and "well-known" in the area, yet I've found little about them. And the police seem strangely laid back about the whole thing. And most of the ritualistic victim-blaming memes are absent. Were they gun owners? Did any of the victims have a history of drugs? Of mental illness? Any religious or cult behaviors? Etc.

    This has a sort of "mob war" feel to it. My guess is that the entire family was mixed up in something extra-legal... or political.
