What more horrors do the Brits have in store for us?
As a titbit nation, they still manage to stir up an unfair share of international mayhem.
It's all in the "paperwork".The reputation of Britain's banking industry took a fresh battering whenHSBC was slapped with a record $1.9bn (£1.2bn) fine by US regulatorsfor money laundering and sanctions busting, the first arrests were made in the Libor-rigging investigation, and nationalised Northern Rock handed the taxpayer a £270m bill to compensate customers affected by a mistake in its paperwork.

Come sit down beside me I said to myself
And although it doesn't make sense
I held my own hand as a small sign of trust
And together I sat on the fence
Anon. Very anon.
Attachment 1092Britain has been morally bankrupt for 200 years. They are simply continuing their Great decline with no repentence in sight.
Attachment 1091Joseph speaking to the Egyptian people in THE PROPHET JOSEPH, an Iranian produced TV serial available on You-Tube and by purchase.
Hard to argue with that. Britain finally lost its empire in the 1940s-60s. It sought to maintain dominance through its banking industry, which has now been shown to be rotten to the core. HKBC has just been fined nearly $2 billion dollars but has escaped having its managers jailed. Such is its connections to the Tory government.
And this is just the latest of a series of British banking scandals. One wonders whether the average Brit will continue to allow such behaviour.
But they are an extremely tolerant people.

Well, that's that then.Nick Clegg will claim that his party has proved its worth as a force that can anchor governments to the centre ground. Photograph: Getty ImagesNick Clegg will launch the pre-election process of distancing his party from the Conservatives on Monday, depicting one of the Liberal Democrats' key roles in the coalition as preventing the Tory right from pursuing a "fantasy world" outside the European Union.
In effect setting out his party's platform for the 2015 general election, the Lib Dem leader will claim that his party has proved its worth as a force that can anchor governments to the centre ground, navigating between the equally undesirable ideologies of left and right. His remarks will signal a big shift from the early phase of the coalition, when Clegg emphasised the need for the Lib Dems to "own the coalition" jointly with the Tories, rather than seeing themselves as fighting endless battles with David Cameron's party.
Clegg will say that Lib Dems have learned to temper their own "dogmatic liberalism" to the requirements of government and practise a "pragmatic liberalism" that allows them to make often necessarily "invidious choices", such as those over welfare cuts, to bring spending under control.
The LibDem experiment with the Tories is on the ropes.
Now they have suddenly "seen the light". With whatever voters still cling to them.

Margaret Thatcher survives minor operation.
A windswept, frozen Antarctic wasteland is renamed Queen Elizabeth Land as a mark of respect for the windswept, frozen British manarchy. The Argentines threaten to invade. Again.
There is no good news.
As you might expect.

I understand how infuriating it is to see this little island still up there in the big six and smacking everybody who gets in our way . Doesn't seem logical or possible .
But it has happened .
You just will have to live with the Bantam weight who fights like a Super Heavy weight .
The simple fact is that we are far too smart for the lumbering Russians and dimwitted Americans. Though we still are puzzling how to keep the Chinese under control .
We realised that Diplomacy and a top Secret Service are the keys to continued success .
So we developed the best service in the world in the former area and joint shared authority with Mossad in the latter .
The fact that comedy initiative and cutting edge performance , plus success in international sport , are synonymous with Team GB , clinches matters .
You can fight over the crumbs if you wish , because you won't get much else .
