So capitalism inevitably will reduce world population to a large % of low to poor, if no world wide standards for labor and wages are adopted.
So you don't think the US will transform itself into a low wage economy in keeping with its income?

Our per capita income is higher than yours.
Whoever criticizes capitalism, while approving immigration, whose working class is its first victim, had better shut up. Whoever criticizes immigration, while remaining silent about capitalism, should do the same.

Irrelevant without quoting cost of living details and effectively providing a net disposable income comparison .
A complex matter best left to experts .
Common sense suggests that people in NZ are many more times better off than their American counterparts .Add in qualitative factors and there would be a minimum 100 million Americans wishing they could move to Auckland tomorrow .
Unfortunately for them the bulk would not have heard of the country , let alone exactly where it is . But fortunately for the people of NZ .

Our per capita income is higher than yours too. We happily except your emigrants. You're welcome.

In his line of work it's nice to be in a relevant country. I guess his countrymen took it personally.

When in doubt, or facing disaster, throw in a few "we-are-bigger-than-you-at somethings".

And, on the immigration note, most them would not be allowed in. We have a psychological test.

Actually, the topic is quite specific. Again, ourt per capita income is higher than New Zealand's and the UK's. The latter loses population to us both.

It has little to do with income , if net disposable income is worth zilch and won't even pay the bills .
Would it be fair to say that the 100 million Americans who live at or near poverty plus the number of homeless makes your dream look suspect -- being very polite .

Ah yes. That "free disposable income" that is free only until the next power bill comes in.
