A sex offender from New Jersey has preyed on the same young woman twice in Midtown — and cops are asking for the public's help to nab him.
Jeffrey Mahon, 49, whose last address is a homeless shelter in Hoboken, first encountered the 23-year-old victim on May 3, according to cops. They said he followed her along Broadway near W. 64th in Lincoln Square, then yanked her by the arm and grabbed her buttocks.
She got away, but on May 15, she had the misfortune of crossing paths with him again. This time she was getting out of her car on 45th St. and Eighth Ave., police said.
She got back inside and locked the door, and Mahon banged on her hood, then ran off, cops said.
Authorities want to get the "non-compliant sex offender" off the streets.

If you want to be better at keeping track of guys like this (real threats) stop tagging Billy Bob as a "sex offender" for sleeping with his willing 16 year old GF when he was 19.
I have been flat out told by a forensic psychologist that such rules fill up their case loads and take time away from dealing with guys like this
