    I understand why theres lead paint underlayers of latex, I dont understand why it still exists when inspectors are supposed to check for lead painst specifically because its such a danger to kids, theres a simple kit you put a small chip into that does that.

    The reason is simple a 100 to 500 bucks and the inspector says Good boy.
    No one can stop an inspector from taking a bribe but heres where the city is at fault.
    The people complain and complain again and again and again and no one does NOTHING because the $#@!bag slumlords are some of the most closely politically connected and the biggest donors.

    One more thing to add, dont even try to think its just republicans they donate too, NYC is by far a democrat city
