Canadians are stupid and uninformed people when it come to topics involving America.

the same rules apply to gun sales at gun shows as they do at Cabellas or any brick and mortar gun store.

How would you feel about your government coming to you and saying, "We've decided that you don't need those guns"? Okay, perhaps self-defense, home protection, that sort of thing does involve putting a metal object into a living target, but sometimes that's a good thing. It's why the police carry guns.

This, once again, is a massive pile of bovine bile and illustrative of how gullible leftist fools will mindlessly parrot the talking points they are spoon fed.

Two-thirds of that number constitute suicides. You're against adults being able to terminate their own lives?

Very often, the law looks for just such parallels and equivalences, in determining what is or is not appropriate in the area of regulation. A firearm has many lawful purposes, just as a car does. Pretending that a gun is innately different from any other thing that can be possessed does not make it so.
This is where your false equivalencies fail. Societies do fine without weapons. They cannot succeed without the means of transportation. Get the hell out of my classroom. You have failed miserably

You are seriously under-qualified to be my teacher in this and - from what I have been able to determine - pretty much anything else, so...

I am still amused by the incredibly stupid and moronic argument that suggests that if we suspend the second amendment, we will ALL be safer and there will be no more carnage with criminals and weapons. I mean, how stupid and naïve does one have to be to fall for such dimwitted narratives???

    And?

Most states don't require a waiting period. There is no reason why they should.

Why don't you dig up some stats and show us how many firearms are used to commit a crime within say, 24 to 72 hours of their lawful purchase?

That statement only proves your ignorance on the subject.

Are you seriously trying to contend that Gun Show sales require a waiting period before purchase and a background check????

...and the OP is incorrect. people as young as 18 can and do buy handguns through private sales at gun shows.

There is no way to track private sales. Therefore no statistics exist.

Except 13 and 14 year old Black Gangster disciples aren't buying guns from any gun show, and their private sale more than likely goes down with a drug deal and or party.
