Gag Reels Run at the End of Feature Films

I think Cannonball Run, in 1981, was the first movie I ever saw where they ran a short "gag reel" at the end, during the closing credits. I don't know if it actually was the first film to do this - I can't remember if director Hal Needham's earlier Smokey and the Bandit did it - but it's still really funny.

I know there was a gag reel at the end of Being There, the Peter Sellers film. And Smokey and the Bandit. I can't think of any earlier than those.

All of the Rush Hour movies had them

By the way, what happened to the TV Show Rush Hour. It didn't seem to last very long.
