Baton Rouge police say group stole guns and wanted to shoot officers

Baton Rouge police say group stole guns and wanted to shoot officers

By Matt Zapotosky and Mark Berman July 13, 2016

Authorities in Baton Rouge said this week that a teenager accused of stealing guns during a burglary told investigators that he and others involved were seeking bullets to shoot officers there.

Baton Rouge police officers responding to an alarm at the pawn shop early Saturday say they apprehended a 17-year-old as he was fleeing the area. Police said that the teenager told them he and other people took the guns and were going to get bullets so they could shoot officers.

In addition to the 17-year-old, two other people — Trashone Coats, 23, and Malik Bridgewater, 20 — were also charged after being found with guns that were stolen, police say. Police said Coats purchased two of the weapons. Another person — a 13-year-old boy — was also arrested.

WOW! 13 years old and stealing guns to kill cops. That takes some real parenting doesn't it? Oh I forgot, Mom was too drunk or stoned to care and Dad was a sperm donor for just one night. It's not too hard to see how we got to where we are today.

Yep; I wonder what liberal laws would have prevented this from happening.

Not in the way you think.....

If whites are so racist and bigoted why are Vietnamese so accepted in American society? Less than 50 years ago they were killing sons of all races from America. The North fought the South over slavery more than 150 years ago, yet whites are still supposed to still HATE Blacks.....and they weren't even at war with us. Could it be we admire the Vietnamese? Why would we do that? Most came here with just the clothes on their backs, moved into the worst neighborhoods and their kids went to some of the worst schools. Yet, they excelled. Their culture is one of hard work, family unity and education to get ahead. Can you point out where that exists in Black Culture? The Black culture in America today is seen as the culture of hands out and gimme free stuff.....you owe me. My family doesn't owe anyone anything, they immigrated here from Portugal in 1900 and did what the Vietnamese did in recent history.

So, c'mon Cigar tell us what about Black culture and history you are proud of? Tell us of the great accomplishments.

Guess Cigar didn't have an answer.
