Conservatives compare Biden & Obama speeches to Reagan!

Dems offered hope. Republicans offered a dystopian Hellscape leaving the hopeful stuff to Biden and Obama. Ya blew it Cons.

Erick Erickson referenced Reagan in a post on his website The Resurgent: "Barack Obama offered optimism and 'Morning in America' to Trump's 'Midnight in America' doom, gloom, and despair," he wrote Thursday morning.

From O speech (his best ever IMHO):

"What we heard in Cleveland last week wasn't particularly Republican — and it sure wasn't conservative," Obama said, referring to the GOP's convention. "What we heard was a deeply pessimistic vision of a country where we turn against each other, and turn away from the rest of the world. There were no serious solutions to pressing problems — just the fanning of resentment, and blame, and anger, and hate. Ronald Reagan called America 'a shining city on a hill.' Donald Trump calls it 'a divided crime scene' that only he can fix."

I somewhat agree. The RNC Convention was a bit depressing but there were also good speeches. The speeches at the DNC so far have been better, in my opinion, mostly in quality. The RNC doesn't have a Michelle Obama, Joe Biden or Obama. Just my thoughts, of course, but the caliber of speakers is higher.

Go easy on them folks, they need Trump, their savior who has come to help, he is the father figure they have longed for since Reagan, a man to guide them and tell them happy things, 'it's gonna be alright, just believe me, follow me.'

Months from now, no one will ever remember The RNC Speeches or who was there.

    Believe Me!

Btw - Tim Kaine was predictably dull in the first half or so of his speech.

    But this was great

Obama and Biden are great speech makers.

Unfortunately 70% of us think we're going in the wrong direction with them, hence the "depression" with half (or more) of us wanting to continue down that road. Those disenchanted with Trump might equal out those disenchanted with Hillary. That leaves minorities, special interest groups, government employees, educators, unions, illegal immigrants (and all their spouses) left for Hillary. Probably more than half ride in the cart, the rest pull it.

It will take a miracle for Trump to win--maybe more Hillary scandals in the works?

So the Road of NO Governing isn't all it's cracked up to be ... what a surprise ... so maybe doing something rather than nothing now looks inviting?

So don't expect any Governing Polices coming from Trump ... just pray for Clinton scandals
